These are general guidelines for Gold Fidelity Web Design services. Since each Web site project is unique, we offer flexibility in Web design offerings. All Web site design services include basic design and graphic considerations, including simple gradients and color coordination.

Standard sites may be selected from any of the templates offered on the template page. You simply choose your template and desired colors, decide what content you want where, and select from any of the Custom Features available in your package. Custom Sites include your choice of either a two column or a three column format with a header and a footer section. Two column pages have a navigation bar on the left and the content on the right. Three column pages have navigation bars on the left and the right with content in the middle. Other site-specific custom design requests may also be available. Custom Site design is available upon request and billable at an hourly rate.*
†Floating menu items are side navigation bar items that expand upon click or hover revealing additional items below them and causing the lower menu items to “float” down the page. Note: These are not “Drop-down menus.” Drop-down menus are available, but discouraged. See Drop-down menus below.

Services a la carte:
- Photos – Photos can be added to the Web site for $2.50 each. This involves a thumbnail and a link to the actual photo with a dropped shadow. Gallery features, where the customer sees a continuous group of images with “next” and “previous” options, can be included for an additional charge.
- Photo editing – Photo editing, including background removal, cropping, recombining, and other manipulation services are also available.
- Gradients and color manipulations – custom gradients, color manipulations, and custom button design are available.
- Animations – GIF animations are available for $1.50 per frame of user-provided content and $2.50 per frame for custom designed content. In order to make smooth animations, a minimum of 8 frames are required. Simpler animations with fewer frames, such as bi-image, tri-image, quad-image, and etc. can also be provided if smoothness is not a requirement. Minimum charge for an animation with customer-provided content is $20.00. Animations with content generated by Gold Fidelity are billed at an hourly rate.*
- Pages – Pages can be purchased or additional pages can be added for $100.00 per page.
- Drop-down menus – Top-oriented drop-down menu items are available for $25.00 each for a single-level menu, and $35.00 for two-level menus. Cascading drop-down menus are discouraged because of their low user-friendliness factor. Horizontal movement for menu selection in cascading drop-down menus has a high error rate and increases customer frustration.
- Javascript – Javascript and jQuery function integration available. Cost varies by function and integration complexity.
